First we walk the site and discuss YOUR vision for an outdoor evening experience. Our goal is to shape your vision by demonstrating the hidden value within your architecture and surrounding landscape. We will review existing infrastructure and home automation UI’s and look for opportunities to retain and maximize both visual and budgetary value. We want to inform our clients because educated decisions produce photogenic lightscapes.
Now that we have a refined vision of light in mind, we then develop lighting designs, illustrations and technical plans. The goal of the design phase is to define fixture specifications, mounting placements, transformer requirements, wiring details and digital timer options. Our technical and artistic illustrations not only provide us with a lighting installation guide but also support the development of a thoughtfully curated landscape lighting estimate.
Designing a landscape lighting plan is an exciting part of the process for us creative types but the finished installation is what it’s truly all about. During this phase of implementation, we fine tune and adjust light fixture placements, light incidence angles and luminosity levels. If applicable, color options are adjusted and tuned as well. The landscape lighting installation process is deeply involved but the rewards are apparent as the art of light is revealed with the setting sun.

Jason developed an entire landscaping/lighting plan that transformed our tired, mediocre pool and patio area into an oasis. He was very hands-on during the entire process from planning through execution of his plan. His process included walking our property, discussing options with me and my husband about our visions, and provided several versions of his printed plans to help us visualize his ideas.
